Eric Moore was born in Stockton, California in 1982. With only 18 months he was already banging on pots and pans in his mother’s kitchen. He musically grew up in his family’s local church where his father played organ and piano and his uncle played the drums.

At school he learned how to read music, practiced the rudiments and joined a jazz band. That was the time when he made up his mind to become a professional drummer. In 2003 he won the Guitar Center Drum Off and decided to make drumming his life.

Eric toured with Grammy Award winning artists Bobby Brown and the band Sly And The Family Stone, joined the group Infectious Grooves and played with one of the biggest Punk/Rock bands in America, Suicidal Tendencies, as well as with T.R.A.M. He also was part of the Gospel Chops DVD drum series and produced his own DVD "The Eric Moore Experience".

In 2019 he went on "Vita ce n'è"-World Tour with the Italian superstar Eros Ramazzotti.

Eric tours the world as a guest performer at drum festivals and clinics and provides drumlessons online. He is best known for his fast hands and incredible chops and loves sharing his knowledge and love for the drums.
