Emilio Martins is a Brazilian drummer, percussionist, composer and producer who initiated his musical career when he was 8 years old. He studied at the “Conservatório Carlos Campos” in the city of Tatuí, Brazil.

Throughout his career, Emilio has performed and recorded with many famous artists and is touring around the world, as well as delivering workshops of Brazilian Music.

In his performance he mixes his knowledge of Brazilian music with African, Indian and North American grooves.

Emilio is a master on the instruments Timbão, Repinique, Caixa and Surdo and is also proficient in the Agogo, the Pandeiro and further percussion instruments.
